Clean Bee BEE1602 Oil Spill Dispersant is a dispersing agent that contains surfactants of low toxicity and biodegradability compounds that break petroleum oil into tiny droplets. In an oil spill, these droplets disperse into the water, where they are subject to natural processes, such as waves and currents, that help to break them down further and leave no messy scum on the water’s surface. This will help to clear oil from the water’s surface, making it less likely that the oil slick will reach the shoreline. The product complies with the specifications of Dispersant listed in The Prevention of Pollution of Sea (Oil Pollution Preparedness, Response and Co-operation) Regulation 1999.

Application

BEE1602 is formulated to disperse a wide range of crude and fuel oil when the situation of spillage occurs in the ocean, harbours, rivers, streams, lagoons, etc.

Direction for Use

BEE1602 can be applied from aircraft or ship-mounted spray booms. It is also equally effective when applied via handheld or back-toback
mounted sprayers for use on small spills or around areas such as wharf piles.
Use oil booms (solid floating barriers) to contain oil spills at sea. Thoroughly spray BEE1602 over the spilt areas to cover and blend with
the oil. Avoid spraying BEE1602 against the wind. Allow the wave’s action to slowly disperse the oil.
For faster action, allow 15 to 20 minutes for penetration and agitate treated areas with a high-pressure, high-velocity stream of water.
For oil spillage in docks and deck areas, spray BEE1602 over the spilled oil and wait for it to penetrate, dissolve, and emulsify. Flush off
with water at high pressure. The oil spill’s colour will turn chalky when BEE1602 is applied.
